Of note is a short story by Sidney Cowell 'The Enchanted Base Ball,' that follows the travels of a baseball and pursuing shortstop around the world, as well as offering a humorous portrayal of a baseball game. With illustrations. Articles of travels, the fighting forces of Germany and others are present. GOOD condition. Heavy browning to the wraps. Heavy chipping and tearing, with loss, along the lower extremity. 'Princeton Univ' written in large letters (in pencil) across the front. Some soiling and minor staining.
