Oblong hardcover in the original slipcase, "This is copy number 99 of a special limited pressing of the Coson Carriage Collection at Beechdale bound in leather, signed by James Coson and Thomas Ryder and limited to an edition of 150 copies. This copy has been registered to Jeffrey M. Edelson VMD" The dark brown padded leather binding is in excellent condition, the Limitation/Signed page has signs of tape-removable near the fore- and bottom-edge which does not affect the Limitation notice or signatures, the only other flaw is located at the back of the book, the blank end-paper has been clipped in half, the original edition of this book was issued in paperback and the sturdy original paperback covers have been bound-in to this edition, the slipcase has some suface-rubbing but is clean, intact, and presentable ; Signed by Author .

Large format hardcover, no dustjacket, "With sixty-four decorative designs rendered in full color," this copy was owned by the South Philadelphia High School for Girls and has a card pocket on the inside rear cover, an ownership stamp on the title page and an attractive school bookplate on the inside front cover, there is also a damp-mark at the bottom of the cover, this mark is present on the bottom of the pages to a lesser degree and has not caused any damage to the illustrations or text, the color plates are accompanied by drawings and a few black and white plates .

From Ray P. Williams - 'Arlington' Spanish Point. Pembroke West. Bermuda. 5-53." Please note we are not sure why the apparent date of "5-53" is present since the book was published 1n 1975. Rubbing to the glossy white cover and mild to moderate tanning to the last three pages are the only flaws to this clean copy which contains several illustrations, two deletions in ink for entries below "Fourth Series" and "Elizabeth II" are apparently corrections to items that were not issued or not applicable, they are barely visible with a magnifier and to our eyes read "5/ Five Shillings. Brown" and "Davidson and Kempe"; Signed by Author .
