Bright, clean covers and spine; very slightly rubbed at spine head - not split or frayed; lightly dust spotted on text block top edge; tightly bound; notice of set registration to 'John M. Geilenberg' and signed 'Patron's Edition' leaves bound in at prelims; signed by Secretary of the Smithsonian, C.G. Greeley; crisp, clean interior - many leaves unopened at tail edge.
