Only the title "LITTLE LIZZIE AND THE FARIES" imprinted on the front cover and interestingly, it is spelled "FARIES" on the cover and "Fairies" on the title page. Head and foot of backstrip frayed, Pp. 68, with general title and contents leaf referring to the title Six Pleasant Companions ..., frontispiece, title-page and contents leaf referring to the present collection of articles, and numerous text woodcut illustrations. Philadelphia: J.B. Lippincott Co., 1941 Popular Edition, 34th Impression, 253 pages, clean, crisp, and uncreased. In fact, it doesn't look like it has ever been opened. Red cloth binding, tight, with no stains and only minor bumping/shelfwear to the top and bottom of the spine. The dust jacket is brightly illustrated and has a picture of a scene from the television series My Friend Flicka with Johnny Washbrook (Ken) sitting on Flicka. The dust jacket has some chipping on the top and bottom of the spine and closed tears on both the front and back. The spine of the dust jacket is also faded and the price has been clipped.
