A deluxe edition, 12pp., sewn two on with silk cord, printed on handmade paper with pictorial borders and defining typeface for the Caxton Society. Illustrated wrappers and tipped in frontis byRaymond Nott (1888 - 1948), the Missouri born artist who studied at the Chicago school of art before working with the Roycroft Studios. The Dreamers is the most noted essay of optimist Herbert Kaufman, who lent his verse for the Caxton Society publication with his blessings. It was lauded as a typographical high point for the society. None found in OCLC to date.
