Yearning and Yawning Of Hell: Until the Equilibrium Party

By Penno, D[aniel] J.

Plain brown stiff paper wraps, with decorative title and ornament. [62p]. A collection of short essays and -- frankly -- rants against capitalism and in favor of a reformed Socialism in the form of a new doctrine called "Equity Socionomy" through the Equilibrium Party. From the text: "We might better invite into Colorado... the small pox, yellow fever, diptheria, bubonic plague, leprosy or famine... but so long as we allow the Mail fist, the Iron Hand, the Beasts od Capital, to control the laws of our country and inject their own hand made statutes, just so long we will be in servilence and white slavery." Penno was the founder and publisher of the Free Press, a union paper published in Trinidad, CO from the early teens until 1950. Delicately bound, textblock separating at several gatherings, four pages are loose. Very scarce. OCLC only reports one holding.
