This is number 20, a collection of 300 problems which are devoted to "tasks" - being the pursuit of variations on problems over the past fifty years - and "echoes" - being the pursuit of similar elements in problems. Faint discoloration to boards, and moderate darkening to spine and spine gilt, endpapers have offset discoloration from pastedowns. Previous owner's name and contemporary date on the ffep. Overall an attractive copy with binding solid and firm, and internal contents clean and crisp. Betts 31-10.
