The original edition of Rubaiyat of a Motor Car. Humorous prose. Iluustrated with full page plates by Frederick Strothmann. Colour illustrations throughout. Pictorial cover as shown. A tight, clean copy. This work was written in 1906 when cars were much different than they are today, this short poem celebrates the 'joys' of the automobile. The work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it. Very charming and collectible.
