The spine was originally gilt titled but due to a large chip from top of spine and dulling of remaining type, the title is no longer legible. The cover is clean though moderately edgeworn; front hinge has 1" crack at top and rear hinge a 1" crack at bottom. Despite the cracks, hinges remain firm and the book block is tight.
