A fresh, unmarked and tightly bound copy (issued without a jacket). Pages pristine. Hardcover, pictorial paper over boards, is clean and sharp; there are a few tiny rub marks along outside bottom edges and corner tips of the boards, otherwise cover is fine. The exhibit juxtaposed two groups of photos, one made by Harold Edgerton sometime after 1951, showing the first microseconds of atomic test explosions on Eniwetok Atoll in the Marshall Islands. The other group, the work of an anonymous photographer believed to be a U.S. naval officer, was made in Hiroshima in the weeks after August 6, 1945. The catalog contains 10 of these black and white images (plus the cover photo), carefully reproduced and most printed as two-page spreads.
