A catalog of various type fonts sold by Mergenthaler for its photo typesetting equipment. The catalog is undated, but probably about 1960. An embossed gilt seal showing Ottmar Mergenthaler is pasted on the upper right section of the front cover; a portion of the seal is discolored. Laid in a pocket on the inside cover is a large folding chart, 44 in. tall by 31 in wide, displaying scores of lines of type of various font families -- Times Roman, Franklin Gothic, Garamond, Copperplate, Century, Goudy and many more. The chart is titled "The Mergenthaler 18-unit Library as set on V-I-P" A blank font order form is laid in a rear pocket.
