Red/black dj with illus. and white lettering. 190 pp. with 300 pieces of porcelain shown in full color, plus 70 drawings. Published to accompany the exhibition at the Hermitage Rooms, Somerset House. Nearly all the works are from the historic collection of the famous Lomonosov Porcelain Factory (formerly the Imperial Porcelain Factory). The works included are from the post-Revolutionary period, 1918 to the 1930s, including designs by the Suprematists, Kandinsky and others, whose task was "to celebrate the achievements of the new regime and exhort the Soviet citizen to ever greater heights of endeavour and industry." The catalogue and exhibition both are/were dedicated to the memory of the author, who died suddenly just before the catalogue was completed. A beautiful, informative catalogue with amazing, colorful and stunning porcelain.

Basket-weave plastic "cloth" with black Cyrillic lettering; glossy black board slipcase with color illustration; 255 pp. with 137 plates, mostly in color. Parallel text in English and Russian. Each work well-annotated; lovely color-reproductions of icons, embroidery, and small sculpture and jewellery. Includes a brief introduction about the museum and collection and a list of plates. Zagorsk's name has been changed to Sergeiev Lavra since the book was published.

Rebound in burgundy leather with elaborate embossing, gilt tooling and devices on front cover, gilt title on spine. Color frontis, title-page and an additional 25 hand-colored plates. One plate has an acquisition number at the edge, nowhere near the image or title. An extremely rare title. No auction records since 1973, no copies found in sales records. Exquisite in their simplicity and presentation, each plate is titled in English. There are 26 coloured plates by P. A. Hubert, Porter given credit on each plate as R.K. Porter.

A wonderful book showing the colorful, whimsical Dymkovo folk figurines in clay. The work of Dymkovo craftsmen goes back to ancient times. But the written history of Dymkovo toys, as it is gradually revealed to us in reliable eyewitness accounts, covers only the last century and a half. The tradition of the earthenware toys survived better in the 20th century than the traditions of other hand-made Russian toys.
