Description:
Renoir, Pientre de Nu, Preface d' Henri Regnier, Les Editions Berheim-Jeune, Paris 1923. soft cover. Original limited edition, this copy is one of only 150 printed on Arches paper, with one original etching in black on the front cover (Femme nue couchee tournee a droite, Delteil 14). this edition includes 40 reproductions by Renoir in Black, sanguine and in color, executed by Daniel Jacomet. This copy, however, is missing one of the black and white reproductions. Aside from the missing print, the book is in fairly good condition. The front and back covers are tanned, page edges are lightly aged and the binding is loose.

Description:
Folio, original illustrated French-folded wrappers, original acetate and original red cloth bound slipcase. Translated by J.B. Sidgwick, 1958. Text in EnglishLimited first edition, number 1265 of 2000 copies, with four original black and white lithographs and one fifteen-color double page lithograph entitled " The Road". This volume also includes 37 beautiful color plates. The original lithographs were pulled in Paris by the Mourlot Freres atelier. Mourlot's printing of "The Road" was supervised by the artist in collaboration with Charles Sorlier.This copy is in very fine condition with the exception of two loose pages before the title page and some slight wear on the slip case.
