1998


What drew you to bookselling?

I had worked at Oxford Books in Atlanta, Ga. Before I moved to Atlanta I used to run rummage sales for my church


Did you have any mentors in becoming a bookseller?

The staff at Oxford Books.


What are your specialties as a dealer?

Music, Liturgy, Sheet Music (Choral, Organ, Instrumental)


What's the most amazing book you've ever sold?

A Commentary on the Divine Liturgy by Ceslaus Sipovich


What is your favorite part of being a bookseller?

Reading the books the come my way and encounters with clients


Do you have an open storefront or have you in the past?

Individuals have come to my home to look at my holdings, but I do not have a formal bricks and mortar store.


If so, do/did you have any bookstore pets?

My poodle, Trayne, and my cat Bebe


What is your favorite bookshop (other than your own)?

Oxford Books in Atlanta, closed since 1997


What do you personally like to read? Collect?

Biography, History, Music and General Fiction. I collect primarily music related items
