When did you get started in bookselling?

We began selling books as the internet emerged, I think we were one of the first to have a dedicated website over 18 years ago.


What drew you to bookselling?

It was the quantity of books that we had privately collected and the passion that we have for books and artwork


What are your specialties as a dealer?

We have an interest in Natural History, but have over the years gathered up all sorts of interesting titles and developed different subject areas.


What is your favorite part of being a bookseller?

The customer contact is the most rewarding part of my work; building relationships and working together to ensure good, honest customer care


What do you personally like to read? Collect?

Any exploration and adventure in the last century


What's your favorite book you personally own? Would you sell it, if the price were right?

New Naturalist title Ladybirds that was signed and inscribed by the author when I went to one of his lectures in Cambridge. This is a title that I wouldn't sell.


What one book would you buy if price were no object?

Signed TS Eliot poem, A Rum Tum Tugger
