This kit includes the "Deluxe Planisphere", a large device made up of a base showing detailed star charts, plus a rotating mask that can be set to a date and time, plus a pointer. It allows you locate stars and other celestial objects. There is also a 24 pp. Companion Book with instructions and many illustrations, photos, charts, etc. All in a 15" X 15" cardboard carry case. The Planisphere itself shows no damage or wear. It is completely functional, in Fine condition. The Companion book is Good with some wear and creases to the cover, and some highlighting in the text. The carry case is Very Good with light wear but fully functional. A rare and interesting item.
