Glossy, illustrated paper over boards with burgundy cloth spine. Text block edges stained red. Plain endpapers. Wear to corners and edges. Light rubbing. Inside pages clean, bright, and unmarked. Dustwrapper has several tears up to 2", general edge wear, and spine and panels darkened. Both flaps have some light crinkling. A collection of traditional children's songs, with brightly coloured illustrations and decorations by Walter Crane. Originally published in 1877. .

Toronto: Ginn & Company. Good+. Hardcover. 240 p. 26 cm. Tan, cloth covered boards with black stamped illustration on upper board. The lower board has been bent vertically so that a break shows through on the rear pastedown endpaper and a line under the cloth of back panel. Still, sound and holding about as well as usual. The corners have light bumping and wear and both boards are light rubbed overall. There are school name stamps on both sets of endpapers. Otherwise, the inside pages are generally clean and unmarked, with some signs of page turning. A collection of songs with music for use in teaching music to children. .
