Some wear to spine ends and corner tips. Moisture spotting on upper board. Overall light rubbing. Small piece missing from one corner of paste-down illustration. Tiny tear to edge of title page. Some foxing within, particularly to rear side of plates. Occasional light soiling to pages, but really quite bright and presentable. Includes 13 full colour and attractive watercolour plates by Clara Burd. This is a rare cloth-bound (black) edition, with a colour paste-down illustration of children raking leaves on the upper board. Book is heavy and will require extra postage to most destinations. .

Both of the inner hinges are cello taped along the length of the book, which indicates splitting to the hinges, but the text block was possibly detached. Hard to tell. It has some light edge and corner wear and the boards have vertical lines and light shelf rubbing. There is a gift inscription dated 1971 on the first page.
