New York: Point , 2008. This stated First Edition from June, 2008, also contains a "number line" ending in a "1" to indicate First Printing. The book is in Fine, never-read condition except that it does have the signature of an original owner on the front free endpaper. Except for that, it would be in As New condition. I've placed the dust jacket into an archival Brodart protective sleeve. The author of The Princess Diaries strikes another homerun for teenage girls as her heroine Emerson Watts attends the grand opening of a megastore in SoHo, lower Manhattan, which leads to an amazing life-changing surprise. The book is bound in purple boards with die-stamped gilt spine titles. The book measures 5 7/8 by 8 1/2 inches and includes 337 pages.. Stated First Edition. Hard Cover. Description:
Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1916. This popular tale by Kate Douglas Wiggin was part of a 682d thousand printing and comes with the rare original dust jacket. The book is in Very Good + condition. The handsome illustrated covers are bound in green cloth, with line drawing, designs, and lettering in black. (Click on photo.) The covers are clean, having been protected for 90 years by the dust jacket. The binding is tight and secure, and the pages are clean and bright, with a frontis illustration and numerous other illustrations throughout. The original owner's signature is on the front endpaper and on the front dust jacket flap. The endpapers show some toning caused by acidity in the dust jacket flaps. The unclipped dust jacket was printed on a highly acidic paper and thus shows browning and fragility. There are some some missing pieces in the spine area, as well as chipping on the top front panel, plus several tears. The dust jacket has some tape repairs on the reverse. I have placed the dust jacket… Read More
