Chicago: M.A. Donohue & Co. This reprint is probably from around 1900. It is in Fair condition (click on photo) and would make a good reading copy since all text pages are present. The covers show soiling and spine darkening, plus light spine tip rubbing. The book is bound in a gray cloth, with an illustrated front panel and spine decoration. The book has a forward slant. As for the interior, the book is missing the front free endpaper and has a hinge split. The binding, however, is secure. Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1916. This popular tale by Kate Douglas Wiggin was part of a 682d thousand printing and comes with the rare original dust jacket. The book is in Very Good + condition. The handsome illustrated covers are bound in green cloth, with line drawing, designs, and lettering in black. (Click on photo.) The covers are clean, having been protected for 90 years by the dust jacket. The binding is tight and secure, and the pages are clean and bright, with a frontis illustration and numerous other illustrations throughout. The original owner's signature is on the front endpaper and on the front dust jacket flap. The endpapers show some toning caused by acidity in the dust jacket flaps. The unclipped dust jacket was printed on a highly acidic paper and thus shows browning and fragility. Published in September, 1999, this beautifully illustrated comic traces the life of Molly, who wanted nothing of magic until her boyfriend, Tim Hunter, dragged her into his fairy kingdom world. This is one of the rarest and hardest-to-find entries in "The Books of Fairie" series. This DC Comic measures 6 5/8 by 10 1/4 inches and contains 23 pages, plus ads. It is in Near-Fine condition..
