The free front end paper has a square of discolouration, and the signature of a former owner, but the rest of the pages are crisp and clean, showing no wear. A very nice copy. There is a gift inscription to a former owner on the fixed front end paper dated 1929, and a few pages have small marks but there are no other problems. The blue cloth covers are fresh, with no marks or discolourations. The spine shows wear to the top and bottom, and a long spine fold. There are two imperfections to the front cover -- looks like two narrow glue bubbles, but these are not very noticeable. The dust jacket is not price-clipped, but is only in good condition, with heavy edgewear, chips, and nicks of paper missing from the top and bottom edges of the spine. The jacket is now in a protective plastic cover, and looks shabby but respectable. A scan is available on request

The interior is clean and fresh, with just a few signs of use. There are two small stickers on the inside of the front cover -- a former owner's address label and a small blue sticker from the Girl Guides of Canada, but no other marks or wear. The illustrated paper covers are bright, showing just a touch of wear at tips and corners. A very nice copy. The attached scan gives a better idea of condition.

The interior of the book is clean and tight, showing light use. The blue covers show light edgewear and a bit of fading to the top edge. The dust jacket is now in a protective mylar cover. It is not price-clipped, has only minor edgewear and light soiling visible on the back panel.

The front free end paper has a gift inscriptioni to a former owner (Concours de francais, 1959). The green covers are clean, with light wear and rubs to tips and edges. The dust jacket is not clipped and is also in very good condition, with edgewear and shallow chipping. The attached scan gives a bettter idea of condition.
