London: Ramboro Books. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. This is a three page board book, each page features an animal with large "googly eyes" which move and glow in the dark." The pages are clean and bright. The googly eyes still move and glow. The book has some light edgewear and bumps. The covers are bright and show few signs of use. The red tape binding of the spine is bright with light wear to the top and bottom. Please see the attached scan.

New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1969. Hardcover. Very Good -. The interior of the book is clean and fresh, showing light wear only. The covers are in good plus condition -- very good condition overall, but with small rubs at the corners where cardboard shows through the laminate. The 3-D panel on the front cover is in place and in excellent condition, and the original price-sticker ($1.49) is still on the front cover. Please note that the panel does not reproduce well in the attached scan, but this is a problem with the scanner, not the 3-D panel.

Child's Play (International) Ltd, 1977. Hardcover. Good. This set of board book is collected by handcrafters because Buj, the illustrator, used embroidery, collage, and found objects to illustrate common nursery rhymes. Both copies are in Good condition, with general light wear overall, not really crisp enough for a collector, but suitable to share with a child. The second book has a small spot (about 1 x 1) of damage to pages 5 and 6 (Old Mother Goose), where they stuck together.

Artia, 1989. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good. This is a board book (12 p.) with Manasek's wonderful colour illustrations of forest birds and animals on each page. The book is in very good condition, with light wear to the laminate covers and shallow bumps at edges.

London: Collins. Hardcover. Very Good. The interior of the book is clean, showing light wear, including bumps to two of the boards and some paper missing from the top of the "swallows have built their nests" page. The brightly coloured plastic coil binding is in excellent condition. The front and back covers show moderate wear, several small stains and handling. The book has 6 boards, and measures 10 inches high and 8 inches wide.

London: Brimax, 1976. Reprinted 1982 . Hardcover. Very Good. This is a small board book, one of Brimax's "Show Baby Opposites" series for children ages 2 - 4. Both cover and interior are in very good condition -- bright and clean, with just a few signs of wear. The series is described on the back cover as "introduces new conepts in the child's development," in this case, opposites.

Toronto: James Lorimer & Co., 1985. Hardcover. Very Good. This a fold-out book, designed to teach word recognition to very young children. It consists of one long sheet of laminated board, which folds into 16 panels. The front shows the contents of the shelves of a refrigerator while the the back of each panel shows one item from the shelf, with the name printed in large letters beside it. The book is in very good condtion, bright and clean, with just a little light wear at edges and corners.

Toronto: Lorimer. Hardcover. Very Good. This is a small 7 panel board book for young children, that folds out into a long double-sided panel. One side has a picture by Gay of girls and a boy in a garden, the other side has pictures of common vegetables with their names. Children look at the pictures, then match the picture of the vegetables to the plants in the garden. The panels are in very good condition, with minor wear to tips and corners. The laminated covers are also in very good condition, again with minor wear. This is one of the titles in the "Little Big Books" series from Lorimer -- we also have "My Street", by Marie-Josee Cote.

New York: Simon Spotlight / Simon & Schuster, 1997. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/No Jacket. This is a first printing of the first edition, with a complete number line, and looks as though it has never been read. The interior is clean, with no signs of previous wear. The 'lift the flaps' features have never been used. The covers are bright, again with no wear. Synopsis: This is a board book for young children about Busytown's Grand Hotel. Huckle Cat and Lowly Worm explore it from top to bottom.

New York: Mulder Holland, 1984. Hardcover. Very Good. This is a board book for young children. It has 6 panels. The covers are fresh and bright, with light wear only. The red cloth backstrip is fresh. The interior of the book is also bright and clean. A very nice copy.

London: Brimax, 1981. Hardcover. Very Good. This is a small board book, one of Brimax's "Baby's Friends" series for children ages 1 - 3. Both cover and interior are in very good condition -- bright and clean, with just a few signs of wear. The series is described on the back cover as "designed to help the very young link their own experiences with each soft toy character.

Toronto: Lorimer. Hardcover. Very Good. This is a small 7 panel board book for young children, that folds out into a long double-sided panel. One side has a picture of a street with lots of people and activities; the other side has pictures of some of the individual items on the street with their names printed underneath -- a fire hydrant, pigeon, shop window, etc. Children look at the pictures, then find the corresponding object in the street scene. The panels are in very good condition, with minor wear to tips and corners. The laminated covers are also in very good condition, again with minor wear. This is one of the titles in the "Little Big Books" series from Lorimer -- we also have "The Garden", by Marie-Louise Gay.

Tokyo, Japan: Froebel-Kan, 1967. Hardcover. Very Good. The interior of the book is clean and bright, with no marks or wear. The laminated pictorial covers are also in excellent condition, again with next to no wear. A lovely copy of this board book about cute cats and kittens, produced in Japan for the English-speaking market

Samuel Lowe. Hardcover. Very Good. This is an ABC board book, in very good condition. The interior is clean and fresh, and the "activity wheel" on the front cover is present and undamaged. There is no date on the book, but it looks to be from the 1950s.

London: Burke Publishing, 1969. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. This is a board book, with a simple story of birds making a nest and hatching eggs. The interior is crisp and clean with just a bit of wear at edges and corners. The illustrated covers are bright, again with little wear. A very nice copy
