N.Y.: Grosset & Dunlap, 1924 Hard Cover. 7 5/8 x 5 1/4. 346 pp. This is a Grosset and Dunlap edition, probably published in the 1940s. Red cloth on boards cover. b/w illlustration on frontpiece depicting Tarzan, long stick in han d, caption reads: Tarzan goes to battle with the Ant Men. Does not have title page paragraph refferring to war printin shortages. Has the original 1924 McClurg date of publication, not the Grosset and Dunlap date. Tarzan and the Ant Men was the 10th Tarzan book published. This copy has a bit of wear to ccorners. Min wear to edges. Some soiling to cover, but over all presents as a reasonably good c opy. no foxing. Endpapers are ivory; 2, inch long inked lines, otherwise good. A sturdy tight copy. Overall cond: good..

Black textured paper on boards binding with bright gold lettering in very nice condition. Front free endpapers have a bit of adhesive residue staining but very minimal . Former owner's name. A wee coffe stain on edge of first two pages (not major flaw) Text is clean, unmarked, secure, no folds, creases tears. A very good copy of this book of adventure and intrigue.. HC and DJ. Good - V. Good/Near Fine. 7 3/4 x 5.
