Seattle: Superior, 1965. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. 1st printing. 4to cloth. 157pp. Illustrated with fine and descriptive photos bin color and b/w by the author-photographers. Endpaper maps. A vg copy, but has a mild vertical crease running all the way down the ffep, noticeable really only from the verso. Dj has a chip and a couple of tears.

Seattle: White Pass & Yukon RR, 1939. First Thus. Soft cover. Very Good+. 1st printing thus of this year's travel info on the railroad. GORGEOUS litho color wraps bearing the painting of mountains & a First Nations woman with her husky dog. (32pp). Illustrate with photos, several color paintings, and sketches, along with a center double page map of "Alaska, Yukon and West Taku Arm." The date 7-8-39 is penciled (I don't think it is ink) at the top of the front cover. The front cover also bears the ink stamp of "The Ask Mr. Foster Travel Service" located in "The Crawford House, Crawford Notch, N. H." Vg+. A splendid Alaska and Yukon Territory railroad and travel promotional and keepsake. Very scarce and desirable.

n.p.: Margaret & George Murray, 1959. First Edition. Soft cover. Collectible Very Good. Original special issue of this oversized newspaper (compared to today) promoting resource development and other commercial enterprises in Yukon Territory. The covers sheet is headlined "Guardians of Our Northern Heritage" and has the portraits of Canadian Prime Minister Diefenbaker, BC Premier Bennett, and President Eisenhower. Lots of news stories, accounts of historical progress, and both big and little ads. 72pp. "Ma" Murray ended up in Lillooet and published the Lillooet News. Lillooet is on the banks of the Frazer River NW of the Fraser Canyon. In the spring of 1969, I had the pleasure of meeting Ms. Murray at her newspaper office while taking my parents on a sight-seeing trip up the river the year my wife and I lived in Vancouver. In retrospect, I can't think of any famous person I would rather have met. I believe I purchased this item at this time. Vg. Scarce.

There is also an abrasion and partial repair at the stapled fold, 3/4" x 1". Very scarce.
