Dunedin: Stone, Son, and Co., 1894. 106pp. Red cloth binding, spine a bit faded but gold lettering still clear and bright. A remembrance written later in life of the author's traveling out to India in 1845 - before the Suez Canal - to take a position as an engineer.

The author was born in Medford, MA, and was just 17 when he hiked across South America.

Would be very good or better otherwise: Library markings include white labels at base of spines, library book plates, small red "removed stamp" on bottom edges, small removed stamp on title page, paste-in in rear. They were certainly not much used in the library. No pages cut beyond page 57 of volume 1. Shipping outside the U.S. require a surcharge.
