Wright, 1875 penned in a nice hand on verso of front endpaper, and lightly on title. Offset tanning from newsprint pages 38 & 39 at lower eighth of page near hinges. Fairly unobtrusive pencil lines down the margins to mark passages by former owner who gave it a very close reading with a bit of thumbing on a few pages. Otherwise clean and the cord binding makes this a solid utilitarian copy with spirit. .
