Engraved additional pictorial title in each volume, 48 engraved portraits, contemporary tree calf gilt, roll-tool borders to sides, flat spines in six compartments, marbled endpapers, and green and red morocco lettering and number labels. Interior pages are clean with very little foxing. Volumes are in Fine condition with little wear with one exception. The original volume 95 is missing and has been replaced by volume 95 from the 1807 reprint edition published by Cadell, Davies and Samuel Bagster. The front board of this replacement volume is detached. Edinburgh, at the Apollo Press, [for John Bell], [1778-1784]. A beautiful set comprising the work of approximately 50 poets.Photos of the complete set coming soon.
