Jones plays a widowed mother, and Cassidy plays the oldest of her five children who embark on a music career. It ran from September 25, 1970, until March 23, 1974, on the ABC network as part of a Friday-night lineup, and had subsequent runs in syndication. The family was loosely based on the real-life musical family the Cowsills, a popular band in the late 1960s and early 1970s.. Lehigh PA: Brower, Hayes & Co. (Philadelphia), 1851-1852. A 10 leaf copy book written front and back. Inscribed inside cover "Charles GAble in Lehigh Township Northampton County state of Pennsylvania in Nrth America in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty, April 21, 1850." What follows is an accounting of his work ledger including the employer, the day, aount of time the activity and his pay in cents. Work included planting, hawling, mowing grass, hawling dung , thrashing, etc. and concluding with carpenter work. for the final few months through April 1852. The wood cut on the front cover depicts a lamp lighter. The back cover promotes Brower, Hayes & Co., Booksellers and Stationers. Measures 7 3/4" x 6".
