Rourke's "Audubon" received the 1937 Newbery Honor Award retroactively. Previous exposure to moisture has left the book with slight cover discoloration, a slight bow to the boards and interior edge stains. The dust jacket is faded with a large spin tail chip, a large chunk mid spine and numerous chips, splits, tears etc. Previously repaired with now yellowed tape. Professionally cleaned; now in an archival cover. Remains a solid reading copy. .
