The pages are clean, crisp, unmarked and uncreased. This is a collectable book and is in fine condition. ; This book is a piece of history from New York that is a rare find in this condition. This book was released to commemorate the consecration of the high altar in St. Patrick's cathedral on May 9, 1942. There is a high quality embossed facsimile signature of the author, Francis J. Spellman, Archbiship of New York, with a tribute to the builders of the Cathedral. Above the inscription and signature is the stamp of the Archbishop. There is a photo of Pope Pius XII along with a small bio and commemoration which has a facsimile (not hand signed but printed during publication) signature below. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 169 pages .
