His travels took him through Douala, Yaounde, N"kongsamba, Edea, Ebolowa, Kribi and Bangangté. This is a fascinating account of those travels and in particular his long stay with N'Jiké II, the native king and his 80 wives. He describes in detail the customs, way of life, beliefs, activities, etc. of the native King and his peoples, including a visit to a group of lepers. He also provides many excellent photographs to complement his narrative.
