The life of Monsignor Justin de Jacobis, a Christian monk in Abyssinia who lived from 1800 to 1860 and who was revered for his piety. Bookplate of F.W. Cresswell to front pastedown. Dust jacket sunned to spine, remains ofclear tape (now yellowed) across top and bottom edges, some chipping to corners and ends. Includes laid in typed letter to Mr. Cresswell, signed in ink by the author. A VG+ copy in still G+ DJ.

Cloth, and pictorial dustjacket. 190pp. No illustrations apart from nice colourful jacket design. A journey to Nigeria by the Lindsay family and living there on very little. Very Good in Good jacket, now in clear sleeve. Clean covers and pages, though page edges are heavily foxed (a few spots just onto margins). Jacket front bright, light handling marks to back, worn edges withsome rubbing, creasing and chips.

Black cloth with gilt titles, and dustjacket. 251pp. With 4 b&w photo plates, a few line drawings, and a folding map at back of Swaziland. Very Good in Very Good jacket, now in clear sleeve. Clean covers and pages . Jacket has a few light marks, and closed tear to back.

Paris: Horizons de France no date Soft covers, 13x20cms, 248pp, plus maps and illustrations. Large folding map has previously been poorly folded resulting in heavy chipping along side plus additional fold marks. Rear cover rippled with some water marks, spine sunned and creased. A G+ copy.

Very Good in Fair jacket, now in clear sleeve. Clean covers no inscriptions in a worn jacket with losses to bottom of spine.

Pages very good, well-bound, with browning to closed edges and slightly to margins; covers have darkening to margins and spine and some wear to edges including abrasions (showing as white) to lower spine.
