Aventine Press 1931 VG/none. Blue hard boards with gold title to spine. Spine of book has some spotting. Corners and edges slightly bumped. Clean, binding a little on the loose side. No marks, no stickers, etc.Author Herman Melville sailed on the first day of January 1941 (his birthday) in a whaling vesell "Acushnet" the "Dolly" of this book. A part of his voyage, which was to last 4 years was recorded in his first book - this one - TYPEE in 1846. Also in "OMOO" i 1847 and later in "Moby Dick" , 1851.
