Illustrated with 82 pages of repros. on plates of some of his most famous pop images including many in color along with photos of the many superstars that graced his films. There are also many in-text photos that are printed on cheap pulp like paper. Former owner's rubber stamp on the last page, otherwise fine. Press release for show of his 50's drawings laid in.

The Japanese text is minimal. Fire. Laid in is a nice color folder for Blithe Spirit which starred Everett.

Japan: Haga Publishers, 1985. First Japanese Edition . Small Paper with Dustjacket. TEXT IN JAPANESE. A superb pictorial on the great director. There is very little text and most of the book is comprised of beautiful b&w photos, stills, and posters printed on nice glossy paper. There is also a section of color photos. One of the nicest pictorials on Fellini. There is a very soft small faint bump to the top corner of some of the pages, otherwise a near fine copy. Laid in is a nice foldover brochure for the dvd release of La Dolce Vita . and a 24pg. booklet from the criterion dvd release of 8 1/2. sold as a collection only.

Japan, 1953. Paper. TEXT IN JAPANESE. Three rare magazines for Japanese theatrical revues that featured only women. Each magazine is well illustrated with photographs of the stars of the revues. Two of the magazines appear to be from the same theatrical company. All three have beautiful full color covers. One of the magazines have page folds due to the binding otherwise all are vg. The best example of this kind of theatrical presentation can be found in the film "Sayonara" in which Marlon Brando has a forbidden love affair with the star of the Matsubayashi Theater Revue. Since I don't read Japanese these magazines might very well be from that company.

Laid in is a very nice small 34pg booklet for the dvd release of Dreams.
