Nice copy of this uncommon book. Stone structures and other cultural relics have been found in the Green Mountains of Vermont as well as precise alignments with ancient astronomical events such as summer and winter solstices... who built them??

However, there is a bookplate on the rear paste-down saying "This special edition is limited to 50 copies. This copy number 36 (handwritten in)", and includes a business card from the Press. 8vo. green cloth with pictorial paste-on, gilt titles on front board and spine, b/w woodcuts as chapter headings. 25 pages. CONDITION: NEAR FINE / no jacket: small mark on front board, tiny brown stain on bottom page edge of last 5 pages, otherwise like new.
