Description: Color folding map with cloth backing, folds into a 7" x 4" booklet with drawing on front and information on back pasted onto the cloth. Condition: VERY GOOD: very light wear and discoloring to edges; map is in nearly new condition.

Condition: VERY GOOD map in a VERY GOOD envelope: map is in nice condition excepting a few small red and blue penned lines under town names, a few faint spots, very slight creasing; slipcase envelope has light edgewear and some creasing to bottom corner. Nice condition with no tears to the map.

Description: Centennial Vignettes, a collection of cartoons by Murray Olderman, a feature staff cartoonist of the McCaltchy newspapers, celebrating the centennials of California: 1948 - 100th anniversary of the discovery of gold in CA; 1949 - 100th anniversary of the Gold Rush; 1950 - 100th anniversary of California's admission to statehood. Quarto stpaled wraps, 32 pages, each of a cartoon vignette of a person important to California history drawn by Murray Olderman, that originally appeared in the newspapers between 1948 and 1950: includes Kit Carson, Peter Lassen, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Larkin, John Fremont, William Tecumseh Sherman, Joseph Revere, etc. A Walt Disney "B" on rear cover. Condition: NEAR FINE: very slight wear.

No date or publisher, but printed for the Choate School in Wallingford CT: "Condensed as read each Christmas in The Choate Chapel;" page after title page reads "Hallo! Hallo! How are you...? Merry Christmas!" with an illustration by D.E.H., and from "Margaret and Seymour St. John." [St. John was the long-time headmaster of Choate - he died in 2006]. 16mo, paperwraps, stapled, red covers with Choate insignia, 30 pages, one full-page b/w illustration. Condition: NEAR FINE with no visible wear excepting a slight rub to the front cover. A nice piece of ephemera for the Choate or Dickens' collector.

Regal Record Co, 1920. Soft cover. Very Good. Little Tots' Nursery Tunes: "Mulberry Bush". 5'x6" Vintage card from game series / record, published in the 1920s by Regal Record Co. Words to "Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush" is printed on the back, color illustration by Maud Trube on the front. Condition is VERY GOOD- with some edgewear and two corners chipped. Beautiful illustration.

Condition is GOOD-: light edgewear of small tears and creasing, covers are nearly detached from each other.

No date noted, but there is an inscription dated 1927 on verso of title page. 32mo (4 ½" x 3 5/8"), illustrated stapled wraps, 16 pages, b/w illustrations throughout. Condition: VERY GOOD+ with little wear. A vintage religions tract with biblical quotations and unattributed drawings.

NY: Lyle Stuart. Soft cover. VG+. Privately printed, no publication date, originally presented in 1949. 8vo, stapled wraps, 14 pages, two-color illustrations. VERY GOOD+ condition. A science-fiction story by one of the scientists who worked on the A-Bomb project, it tells of aliens visiting a post-apocalyptic earth. This was originally presented orally on March 27, 1949 during a University of Chicago Round Table of the Air program...it was delivered "off the air" and has only appeared in print in the original transcript of the program, not for general circulation. A scarce title.
