Some very minor pencil annotation, and name 'S. F. Bonner' neatly inside front. This was probably the late Liverpool University academic and classicist author Stanley Bonner. Rare.

Paris Frais du Gouvernement 1830 French translation 8vo marbled boards pp445/506 chapter numbers/index 2 volumes G+(edge wear to top of spine) & VG The August 1830 French edition of this famous work, the 2nd and 3rd volumes containing Books Four to Nine of the original. Printed as a government project, so functional rather than luxurious, an interesting printing. Both volumes together.
