A wonderful copy of Kozol's book about the harships of growing up in the South Bronx. This is a first printing. Fine in a near fine jacket. Light rubbing, something was paper-clipped to front of jacket at one point.

Book bound in blue cloth boards, clean and square, with no markings internally. Jacket VG, with some creasing at rear, and some lines/creases where laminated front panel is separating somewhat.

A nice copy of this book from the author of Nickeled and Dimed, this time dealing with the difficulty of finding a normal midldle class office job when downsized. Near fine in a like jacket--mnimal shelfwear, small ink dot to bottom edge.

A bit of underlining to the TOC, oddly, and to one section of endnotes. The text itself is unmarked. A used book, but overall pretty decent.
