Hardbound book is FINE -- Unread, Unmarked, and AS NEW in AS NEW pictorial DJ protected in Bro-Daret cover. (h) Prior to disagreeing with prevailing (but unproven) general opinion, Dr.Duesberg was one of the most respected award-winning molecular biologists in the world, pioneer in retrovirus research, first scientist to isolate a cancer gene, and generally considered a likely future recipient of a Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. And then he pointed out there had been no actual research proving that there was such a thing as an AIDS virus, or that the virus named HIV caused the immunodeficincy syndrome that became knows as AIDS. Inthe words of John Wilmot, Second Earl of Rochester: "Any man who calls things by their rightful name will surely be hanged." These days, such a man is allowed to live, merely has his career and reputation destroyed. Foreword is by Nobel Laureate Kary Mullis. Whatever one has heard about Dr.Duesberg, by the time one has finished reading the first 100 pages of this book discussing great medical misbeliefs of history, the obvious thought is "This man does NOT sound like a crackpot. This man does NOT sound insane." This is a major future historical document.
