Postcard book of 16 cards, each approximately 4-1/2 inches high by 6 inches wide, including a color pictorial title card, a printed rear cover card & 14 cards, each illustrated in black & white. The cards were originally bound together but are now disbound. The title card is rubbed and slightly darkened with a light vertical crease and with its top left corner soiled & slightly bumped. Good. <p>The edition was limited to 500 copies.<p>The postcards are numbered "Verhaltens Forscher" 1-15, with the rear cover card unnumbered. The rest of the text is in English.<p>Scarce.

A fine press artist's book, consisting of 8 letters from the front written by a young Vietnam veteran dating from October 1968 to June 1969. Each letter is printed on 16 inch high by 5-1//2 inch wide fine buff paper between illustrations of a medal at the top and bottom. Each broadsheet letter is further illustrated with several monochrome photographs of war scenes printed in offset on the verso. Titled "Sweep", "Spy", "Cache", "Hope", "Surprise", "Wrong", "Purge", and "Return", each of these broadsheet letters is folded and housed in a 4-1/2 inch high by 5-3/4 inch wide buff envelope titled above a monochrome illustration of medals on the front. Black-and-white illustrations & a black oscillating line over a number of pages, being a graphic imprint of the author's voice. Very good. <p>This publication, the first of Hallwalls' Project Room/Artist Book Series, was produced on the occasion of the exhibition "Adam's Sorrow: Genetic Mutation and the Fall of Man", a Hallwalls Project Room Installation by Jon Tower, November 17-December 21, 1990. A section in the rear of the book titled "Errata" includes two texts: the Fall of Adam and Eve from the King James Version of the Bible, and a scientific report on Hexadactyly, the hereditary condition of being born with six fingers or six toes. The graphic voice imprint is of Tower reading the passage from Genesis.

SIGNED BY ROBERT PETERS - Small quarto [10 inches high by 8 inches wide], softcover bound in plain dark brown wraps with a keyhole in the front wrap revealing part of a color title page vignette & and a keyhole in the rear wrap revealing a small section of text. There is a light crease & 2 short tears to the top edge of the front wrap keyhole. There is a tiny chip out of the bottom corner of the rear wrap. The wraps are slightly faded along the spine. Unnumbered, mechanically reproduced pages. Profuse illustrations in color and black & white interspersed with texts compiled from various authors. An acetate sheet is laid in. Very good.
