Paris: Berger-Levrault, 1948. Leatherette. Very Good-/Good. French translation of a 4th Century Roman text: Epitoma Rei Militaris. One of "Les Classiques de l'Art Militaire" with an introduction by L. Nachin, presentation and notes by Francois Reyniers. Brown leatherette with white titling to front and spine. Cover shows light edge wear, previous owner's name with date on title page, pages 4-5 have underlining in coloured pencil, age darkening to pages, the endpapers are lighter in colour, 171 pages plus two pages of publisher's advertisement. Dust jacket shows a three inch and a one inch closed tear with clear tape repairs, a half inch closed tear is uncovered, light discoloration of white paper. The dust jacket is now protected in a Brodart cover. Shipping charges are calculated for a standard parcel under 1 kg.
