Sheet Music Illustrated covers with leather spine decorated with gilt, covers are darkened and scuffed at the corners, leather is rubbed at edges, internal binding is of single sheets with a glued/gutta percha type bond, which has deteriorated such that all pages, other than end-papers are detached. Includes three chromolithographs: a "presentation" page with a coat of arms, King Henry the Eighth Presenting Anne Boleyn to His Court as Queen, and illustrated title page showing Anne Boleyn in the Tower ad MCXXXVI. Also black and white steel engravings of The Eagle Tower at the Castle of Tankarville, Normandy and of Rose Atherton. There may be missing plate of the Arms of England in the Time of Henry.
