Octavo, 7 2/3” tall, 484 pages, white titles on blue cloth with a color cover vignette. A good, generally clean, neat original hardcover edition with moderate shelf wear and rubbing through at the fore-corners, spine canted, front hinge cracked binding solid, paper light to moderately yellowed. Issued in England as 'Victories of the Engineer.'

Single volume, sold as an original reference copy only. Octavo, 9" tall, viii + 590 pages, 2 illustrated frontispieces, blind-stamped brown cloth with gilt titles. A fair copy overall, exterior cloth significantly chipped at all edges, binding broken, scattered foxing throughout, though most of the paper is bright, most of the internal binding is solid but two early signatures loose, text paper light to moderately yellowed, BUT there is damp staining to the back cover and last ten pages, cover cloth is stained and loose from boards.

Octavo, 8 3/4" tall, xiii + 224 + 64 catalog pages, with intertextaul black and white illustrations, gilt titles on green cloth. A good, generally clean, sturdy original hard cover with moderate shelf wear, rubbing at all corners, fraying started to the spine cloth edges, top and bottom, and foxing at all fore-edges, binding fairly solid but the second signature has loosened, paper moderately yellowed with foxing at the endpapers.
