An autobiography based on letters & diaries, supported by photographs. The author wrote countless letters to her family "partly to reassure" and in that spirit, did withhold the more hazardous experiences. This collection precedes North to Orient by two years, and in re-reading them, Anne Morrow Lindbergh did re-live moments she knew. Fine copy less dust jacket.
