A very good or better copy, the binding clean and square, the contents without previous owner's inscriptions or stamps. Text block edges a little spotted. Complete with the very good or better rubbed and slightly nicked dustwrapper. Not price-clipped. Inscribed by Roald Dahl and dated Oct 31st 1975 in blue ink on the front free endpaper. Provenance: Signed at the Exeter Children's Book Fair which the recipients Jim and Denise Condie organised throughout the 1970's and early 80's. At each of these annual fairs publishers would bring along a selection of newly released children's titles often with the author to sign and help promote them.
