With engraved illustrations by Robert Gibbings, and an introduction by Gavin de Beer. --- Bound in full green cloth-covered boards with titling and decorations gilt-stamped on spine; volume housed in green paper-covered slipcase. Possibly published c.1960s-70s (though 1957 date appears in volume). Sandglass flier laid in (Norwalk, no serial no.). --- A Near Fine copy: clean, bright and tightly bound but with a hint of sunning to spine. Slipcase with a little rubbing; is structurally sound.; Small Quarto - 9 to 11 in. tall; xvi, 489 pages .

A tight very good copy in cloth boards with a faint stain to the base of the spine in a very good glassine dust jacket with some toning to the spine and some other wear and in a very good plus slipcase with some light wear and a faint stain to the bottom edge and with laid in newsletter for the Limited Editions Club.
