A lovely near fine square copy, the contents without foxing or previous owner's inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the near fine lightly creased dustwrapper which remains without fading of the red lettering. A beautiful example of one of Dahl's most popular titles. Housed in a bespoke half morocco solander case. Inscribed by Roald Dahl in black ink on the front free endpaper "Johanna / Love / Roald Dahl". Provenance: Private UK collection (Signed by the author for the recipient in person at Waterstones bookshop in Bath, 1988).
