Lively travel writing embellished with many engravings of landscapes, street scenes, eminent Mexicans, and even a bull-fighting scene and bull and bear-fighting scene. 518 pages + 4 pages of publisher's ads. Prefatory letter by William H. Seward. Lovely Aztec-themed owner bookplate on front pastedown. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .

After running an open shop for twenty years in the historic village of Schuylerville we now sell books online and at book fairs. We are members of the Independent Online Booksellers Association (IOBA). Our specialties include books about history, science, cooking, children's books, and the arts.
