London: Weidenfeld & Nicolson, 1981. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. 8vo., 229pp. Sharp First Edition. Square, tight and clean throughout with a touch of bumping to spine ends. Very attractive unclipped dust-jacket, (£5.95 net), has some toned edges and light shelf-wear but fresh and bright with no chipping, creases or tears. Uncommonly inscribed by the Author on the title page, "For ____, with love, from Antonia Fraser'. A pretty colectable copy of teh author's third mystery.
