vintage 1926 hardcover has rubbing and wear to orange boards, corners bumped and rubbed and worn, edgeworn and rubbed at spine, top spine edge frayed, small approx 1/2" chip off top corner edge, some pocks and dents to boards, title page loosening at top, spine cocked, prev owner embellished name in pencil on front flyleaf otherwise nice clean pages and still in all an acceptable and solid, clean nice reading and reference copy of this wonderful Indiana basketball classic of the Twenties.

Owner's name (Robert Edwin Houston) on ffep. Book plate with author's signature "With the best wishes of the author Harold M. Sherman." Book is based on the Franklin High School Wonder Five Team of the early 20's who won three straight championships in Franklin, Indiana. Book was purchased at an estate sale in Marion, Indiana, a few miles from Franklin and it is likely the book was presented to a player or staff member of the Franklin Wonder Five Team.; Signed by Author; Signed by Author(s) .
