Illustrated by Dora Noyes. 16 lovely tipped in color illustrations, plus numerous line drawings. Tissue guard intact on frontispiece. 320 pages including index. Bound in green cloth with gilt lettering & decoration, gilt upper page edges. Very close to fine condition with only a few, very faint & tiny flecks of foxing page edges and just a touch of spine end/corner wear to keep it from being absolutely fine. It is a clean, tight & square book with no writing in it. Excellently written about and illustrated (in color and B&W) book on the Salisbury area of England as it was before WWI. ; Color & B&W Illustrations .

The endpapers are foxed, with the shadow of a newspaper clipping (?) on the rear endpapers. Rust from a paperclip has stained the top edges of three leaves.
